Located on the second floor of the penthouse building, this is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit 32 with a king bed in the master bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds in the guest room. Balcony faces the courtyard with a view of the gulf and pool. A short 75 yard walk to beach through a manicured courtyard and you will be playing in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Centrally located to the pool, game room, coin laundry, and BBQ grills.Maximum occupancy is 6 people. Non smoking

Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.

Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!

Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).

Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.

Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:

- Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard

- Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!

- Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.

- S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

Beautiful Condo!

The condo was just perfect for our family of 4. We have 2 teenage sons that fit well in the bunk room. The furniture was comfortable and we had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. The property is well maintained with great poolside furniture, an amazing grassy area where kids play, and everything felt clean.

Clean but updates are needed

The condo was clean and inviting. Had all the things you need to cook and to entertain for 6 people.
The location and the grounds of the were excellent and the beach was fantastic.
Here are a couple of things I would recommend to change.- Have your HVAC unit proffessionally clean. my kids and wife all started coughing as soon as we walked into the house. I looked at the unit and it had a basic filter on it and the fins were really dirty. Kitchen cabinets needs to be updated. The appliances were upgraded and nice along with the countertops. Screen door going to outside was off track and does not stay on track do to new flooring.
The view from the patio was fantastic.
The owner or Property manager were easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly.
Staff at the property were very friendly.
Thanks for hosting us. We really enjoyed the condo and had a great family vacation.

Hidden gem for sure

We had to find a 2 week rental in late May due to our previously rented house being sold. We had only stayed out on 30a and were not familiar with Destin, only more carnival in our imagination. Once in the gate, safe, quiet, family friendly, clean and wonderful - only request is trim back trees/bushes on shuffleboard court

Fun at Beach

Very close to beach with easy access. Unit over looks pool and beach close by with great view from balcony. Doors with push buttons code were easy and you did not have to think about needing a key.
