Z Unit 25

We had a fabulous time in Unit 25. Very spacious and plenty of room for everyone. Deck views were amazing and beautiful! Can’t wait to go back!

Condo was very nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. We had a great view and easy access to the beach. Staff was extremely helpful and quickly answered any questions and assisted with any needs. This includes the front desk, housekeeping, and beach staff. We will definitely return to this location.

Very family friendly place with it's center courtyard and family atmosphere. No young party crowd to make noice at midnight and beyond.
The condo we rented was nice. Only concern is that the cleaning crew did not check thorough enough for misplaced items. On day 2 of our stay, we noticed a bad smell as soon as walking in the door. We found a half Subway sandwich in its' sack under the 1st bedroom bed. Also found a pair of small child's underwear poking out from the couch cushion. First time in 20 years staying here that have had any cleaning issues. I'm assuming staffing shortages as with everthing else.
The Security and Maintenance personnel are very professional and nice. Had an issue with the patio door and Maint. repaired promptly. Also had a conversation with Security as he did his nighlty grounds walk. He was very nice and personal.
One last comment, we really wish we could get into the condo before 4pm. 2pm or sooner would be nice...

Unit 25 was very clean,neat and also very spacious for all 8 of us. Nice view of the landscape as well as a small view of the ocean.

Pros: Location was close to just about anything you would want in Destin, condo was clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms roomy and adequate, a real plus to have a washer and dryer in the unit, living area had adequate seating for 8 adults and all were comfortable (I found this to be an anomaly), plenty of towels, Keurig, low density beach and common area, drying rack on balcony, attractively decorated in beach style (turtles in master), kitchen adequately equipped, availability of. beach service, including beverages was a plus. Cons: peculiar odors in master bath (my daughter thought it got better the longer we stayed and felt like it was water trapped somewhere in the drainage system), light on balcony was burned out, we could not get grill to work so had to cook steaks in the oven, dishwasher controls panel fell off as soon as we got there and dish washer didn’t work very well, gate code changed too early on day of departure, when we arrived we had no idea how to access our unit.

As with many Silver Dunes guests, my wife’s family has stayed at SD every Summer for over 40 years. After adjusting to the many changes and steady rate increases over the past 3-5 years, we continue to look forward to our stay at SD. Unit 25 was in great shape and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We appreciate the updates to Unit 25 over the past several years. The new ramps to the beach and shower locations were definitely a great idea. We certainly will miss Falin. Amber has been great in the past with maintenance and I’m sure she will do an excellent job dealing with “all” the customers in the front desk. As usually the property was well kept and the beach was perfect. I did notice the areas around the trash chutes were not as clean as in the past, but maybe the quests were not as tidy as in the past.

We all know George and his crew provided a very professional and personal touch to beach service. It would be tough for anyone to follow that kind of service, but the new service could step it up a bit. A couple of issues worth mentioning; initial set-up was incorrect, second day set-ups were literally crammed together so close it was almost impossible to manage, day 3 - chairs set up over beer cans and trash, day 4 - one set-up was placed in a hole that children had dug the day before, day 5 - no table with one of our set-ups. I found myself apologizing to the crew for bothering them again and trying to manage the family’s complaints about the beach service was a bit exhausting. As I told Chris I try to roll with the flow and not complain, but there is definitely room for improvement. Ethan was very helpful each day getting things sorted out.

We had a great trip to the beach and loved staying in #25. The only problem we had was the master bedroom bed. It was very uncomfortable and very squeaky.

We both loved our 3 bedroom condo at Silver Dunes; it was exactly what we had hoped for in both size, location, and price. The beautiful deck overlooking the pool and ocean was where we spent a majority of our time. The staff at Silver Dunes is always on its toes, repairing any necessary items with diligence and in a timely manner...they are all very friendly!

The entire family was well pleased with unit 25. The staff was very responsive to our needs. Maintenance was quick and efficient. The Scavenger Hunt was fun for the kids and actually the whole family!! The unit has been updated since our last stay. Looks great!
Love the plaza and chairs!! George continues to be awesome. ��.

We love Silver Dunes and try to visit a couple times a year. Check in and out is easy, love George and the beach set ups. We were blessed with perfect weather, clear water and white sand. Only complaint was one stove burner was broken and never got repaired, but we managed fine.

Stayed in unit#25 for three nights for my son's beach wedding. Enjoyed the unit and the grounds amenities(pool and private beach) quite well. Already thinking of planning a return trip very soon.
