Dear Guests of Silver Dunes:
Unless we notify you otherwise, Silver Dunes is open for business as usual with the same wonderful amenities that you always expect! Our guests and friends are of the utmost importance to us, and that is why we want to assure that you will have absolutely no risk in making or keeping your vacation plans at Silver Dunes.
The oil drilling incident off the coast of Louisiana has many concerned about the impact this may have on their upcoming vacation plans. We understand the concern, and that is why we are in constant contact with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Okaloosa County Emergency Management … staying up-to-the-minute with information regarding this matter. Both of these organizations are currently stating that there is no imminent threat to the beaches of Okaloosa County. So while we all have concern, it is important to note that we also do not yet have a real problem.
The Silver Dunes board of directors decided that if we receive official notice that there will be a negative impact to our shoreline resulting in the inability of rental guests to use the beaches or water, we will issue a full refund assuming that impact occurs during the time period a guest is scheduled to vacation with us.
For those who anticipate making vacation rental plans but have not yet done so, they can book with confidence knowing there will be no financial risk involved due to the oil spill incident! We encourage all guests to make their reservation as planned in order to protect their desired vacation week.
At Silver Dunes we sincerely value you as a guest and we want you to feel comfortable that your vacation investment is protected. If you have any further questions, please contact us by calling (800)231-6729 For a daily update please visit www.silverdunesfl.com
