Rules and Regulations (Revised 2013)

  1. Check in time is after 3 pm. Check out time is 10 am. Please respect set times.
  2. Your rent is payable in full 30 days prior to arrival. MasterCard, Discover, American Express and VISA are accepted.
  3. A unit will not be rented to a party whose size exceeds maximum occupancy:
    1. 1 bedroom: 4 persons
    2. 2 bedrooms/townhouses: 6 to 8 persons
    3. 2 bedroom: 6 persons
    4. 3 bedroom: 8 persons
  4. No unit will be rented to single adults 25 and under. Families only.
  5. Absolutely no pets allowed on the premises except to aid the handicapped.
  6. All vehicles on property must display parking passes on the rear-view mirror with reservation # facing the windshield. Unauthorized vehicles are subject to towing at owner’s expense.
  7. All facilities in the complex are to be used by occupants and their authorized guests only. No visitors of guests will be admitted to the property unless the security guard has been notified in advance (850.837.6043).
  8. Park in designated areas only — boats, trailers, and recreational vehicles shall be parked in front Northeast lot only.
  9. Please do not throw anything from balconies.
  10. Please do not hang towels, swimsuits, etc. on balcony rail. Drying racks are provided.
  11. No fireworks, firearms, etc. will be discharged on the property.
  12. No loud music or noise after 10:00 pm.
  13. Laundry room is open from 8 am to 10 pm daily.
  14. Please do not feed seagulls from balconies or courtyard area.
  15. There will be a $15 charge for lost keys.
  16. Grilling is allowed in designated grilling areas only. Grilling on patios is allowed only if an electric grill is provided.
  17. Towels may be exchanged in Housekeeping daily between 9 am and 1:30 pm March-August and 11 am and 1 pm September–February (Mon-Fri).
  18. All rates subject to change.
  19. Three-night minimum on units, some units subject to week minimum. A cleaning fee will be charged for less than three-night stay. Guest who fail to comply with the above rules may be asked to vacate the unit. If this becomes necessary, all rental monies will be forfeited. In the event of damage to the unit reserved you may forfeit your damage deposit. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Silver Dunes a safe and enjoyable place to stay.

Deposit

A $250.00 per week advance reservation deposit is required at time of booking. Deposits will be deducted from rent due 30 days prior to arrival. In the event you have to cancel within the 30 days, you will forfeit your entire stay charge. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date via credit card. Upon completion of inspection of your unit if damage has occurred or a deep clean is required, credit card will be charged accordingly.

Silver Dunes Cancellation Policy for Short-Term Rentals

Your balance is due in full 30 days prior to your arrival date. In the event you have to cancel within the 30 days you will forfeit your entire stay charge. Neither early departures nor late arrivals warrant a refund. We will endeavor to place you in the unit that you requested, however, due to maintenance problems or other unforeseen situations, we cannot guarantee a specific room. 

Cancellation Policy for Long-Term Rentals

A $250.00 advance rent deposit payable by check is required to confirm your reservation. Credit card deposits will be accepted with a 3% charge for long-term reservations only, long-term being 30 days or more. $250 deposit is non-refundable.

Your balance is due upon arrival via cash, personal check, traveler’s check, or cashiers check. MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Discover are accepted with a 3% fee for long-term reservations only.

A $250 damage deposit in form of cash or credit card will be required at check-in. Upon completion of inspection of your unit, if a damage has occurred or a deep clean is required, your credit card will be charged. Neither early departures nor late arrivals warrant a refund. Pool Rules and Hours

Hours: 9 am to 10 pm daily

  • No glasses or glass containers in pool areas
  • Please shower before entering pool
  • Pool furniture will remain in pool area
  • No personal belongings should be left in pool area overnight
  • No diving, running or “horseplay” allowed in pool area
  • Children under 10 must be supervised by an adult
  • Babies must wear swim diapers in the pools

Tennis Court Hours and Rules

Hours: 7 am to 10 pm daily

  • Please visit the office to reserve the tennis courts
  • No skates, skateboards, or bicycles allowed on courts
  • Please wear tennis shoes or soft shoes only on courts

Notify Courtesy patrol for lighting of the tennis courts after office hours.

Game Room Hours and Rules

Hours: 9 am to 10 pm

  • No smoking, drinks, or food allowed in game room

Beach Services

  • Beach charges are due prior to your check out.  You may pay by cash, check or credit card.
  • The use of boom boxes without headsets on the beach is prohibited

Re-booking for the Next Year

Guest interested in re-booking the same unit may do so during your stay prior to your check out at 10:00 am.
In the event you want to change units you may do so following the 10:00 am check out.
