Silver Dunes Guest AmenitiesSilver Dunes is a gated community of condominiums situated in the heart of the Emerald Coast in Destin, Florida. While all of our buildings feature beautiful views and modern comforts, it is our family-friendly amenities that make the real difference. From our private beach to our lively courtyard, every aspect of our property is designed to make your vacation one you and your family will never forget.
All units are individually owned and controlled however, for guests with disabilities there are accessible units available. Specific accessibility features include:

- Entry doors 36″ wide
- Combination shower/tub with adjustable shower head and hand bar
- Toilets with hand bar
- Closed-caption television
- Smoke detector with sound and light features
Front Office Services
Should you have any questions during your stay, just stop into our office located at the front of the property. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you find a nearby restaurant, recommend local activities, our help you select the perfect book, movie or game from our lending library.
Private Beach
Destin is known for its world-class white-sand beaches, and our private slice of the Emerald Coast is no exception! Our property is situated right against the dunes, so you can skip the hassles of traffic, parking and long walks from public parking lots.
Take a few short steps from any of our buildings and get right to planting your feet in the sand or splashing in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Courtyard and BBQ Grills
Nestled between our buildings, our beloved courtyard is the center of many social activities here at Silver Dunes. On any given day, you’ll find families playing games in the grass or simply spending time outdoors enjoying our beautiful Gulf Coast weather.
Our two charcoal BBQ grilling areas are located on either side of the Penthouse building, where guests gather to cook delicious meals and swap favorite grilling recipes.
Swimming Pool
Conveniently located in the center of the courtyard, our clear blue pool offers the perfect place to cool off from the Northwest Florida sun. Get a little exercise while swimming laps or pull up a lounge chair to soak up some rays while the children splash to their heart’s content in our kiddie pool — the choice is yours!
Our pool is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is heated in the winter months so you can enjoy the water year-round.
Shuffleboard and Tennis Courts
Near the front of our property along Highway 98, you’ll find our two private tennis courts and shuffleboard court. The courts are open between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily so you can put in a little work on your backhand or play a friendly game against the neighbors.
Fitness Room
Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you have to skip your workout! Located on the second floor of our Penthouse building, our fitness room is open to Silver Dunes guests from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day — just stop in at the front office to get a key.
Arcade Room
When the kids have had their fill of playing in the Gulf, splashing in the pool or playing in the courtyard, our Arcade Room comes to the rescue! Located next to the Laundry Room right off the courtyard, it’s a great place to get out of the sun for a bit and play our challenging games.
Laundry Room
For units without a washer and dryer, our coin-operated Laundry Room makes washing clothes easy and convenient. Located next to the pool in the center of the property, the Laundry Room is open daily between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Internet Access
Stay connected while you’re on vacation with campus wifi to the whole property. For information on connecting your devices, check the details on your arrival packet.
